Sustainable certification for cosmetics supply chains
A leading luxury company wanted to pilot the sustainable certification of its supply chains with the the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT) standard to ensure biodiversity conservation. It tasked Julien Chupin to support the project team launching the project.
- Internal training on sustainable certification
- High level diagnosis of 300 supply chains
- Preparation of a strategy and action plan
- Support to the project group
The company has a roadmap to implement the standard. Building on this experience, it then announced an ambitious target to deploy best practice standards covering 70% of its supply chains by 2020, reaching 100% by 2025. It is on track to meet this target.
